BOIL NOTICE
Arkansas Health Department regulations require us to issue a boil order until further notice for all users of water from the Helena or East Side Water Plant (previously the City of Helena). Also, if possible conserve water use as much as possible to help us restore water and water pressure to the Helena system. Please boil water for at least three minutes. No contamination is indicated but the loss of water pressure and water mandates boiling in an abundance of caution. Also, should your water begin to return to normal (but not before) please flush your system and open up a bathtub or shower head and let it run to remove any sediment built up inside your pipes, before using. We are out with all crews today and have been overnight. We will update as soon as there is more information.

until further notice. Employees will continue working and

This is a precaution in response to growing concerns about
COVID-19 to protect our employees and our citizens. We apologize

LATEST UPDATES:
Due to the winter weather emergency, water bill deadlines and late fees have been extended an additional week until Monday February 22. City offices remain closed through February 19th. Sanitation routes will resume pick up as soon as streets are safe to travel.
